Loulé is a charming and magnificent town in Central Algarve, known to be Algarve’s most luxurious area. It is the capital of the Municipality, and is located around 10 Km away from the beach. Loulé is the largest municipality in the Algarve, housing the famous "golden triangle" - Quinta do Lago, Vale do Lobo and Vilamoura – with its nice beaches, shops and marina.

The town of Loulé is full of life and is a must see - with its magnificent and recently restored market, old churches and the Santuário de Nossa Senhora da Piedade (an historical religious building) . The markets on Saturday are fun and full of Portuguese authenticity.

By the coast, where Quinta do Lago, Vale do lobo are you’ll find the most luxurious hotels, villas, apartments, and resorts in the Algarve. With Vilamoura right next to them, with its large resorts and marinas offers you the ability to dock your boat.

Strategically well located, just 20 minutes from the airport, this municipality has much to offer.

Inland amongst the countryside you’ll be able to find typically Mediterranean rural landscapes covered with carob, fig, almond and olive trees.

At the coast of Loulé is where famous Ria Formosa ends. Known for its unique biodiversity of fauna and flora, Ria Formosa is the Algarve’s most well kept natural habitat for wildlife in the region. The nearby beaches are also famous for their incredible beauty being long and extensive.

Currently, Loulé is the economic center of the country's largest township, where the coastal population lives off the tourism, and the in the rural areas live off commerce and agriculture.

Loulé Carnival’s is one of the most famous festivals in the country taking place in February.
